She studied jewelry design at HEAD, Geneva's University of Art and Design, and spent years managing art exhibitions before building a knitwear label made entirely by Syrian refugees, staged in pop-ups across Geneva, London, and Doha. She has since worked as a freelance design lead for international jewelry brands — and, alongside that work, built her own line: Misha.
Misha is a modern amulet — not the shape you'd expect one to take. Each piece is built to be held, not just worn. No occasion required.
Maya works between Doha and Switzerland, designing Misha, leading collections for other brands, and taking select commissions by request.
